OUR MISSION

Princess& Company Inc. strives to recruit experienced and qualified staff who enjoy being with children, young girls specifically, in a mentoring capacity. They provide an array of educational enrichment activities designed to build self-esteem, character and leadership skills in girls during their formative years.

All instructors are required to undergo a Level 2 Background Screening. Princess & Company Instructors are trained in CPR, First Aid and required to complete Universal Precautions, Security Awareness, Developmental Disability Awareness, HIPPA, Epilepsy, and Domestic Violence and Abuse Awareness training in addition to other trainings as determined necessary.

P&C also welcomes volunteers to assist with activities, who must also undergo stringent background checks and training.

Princess and Company Inc. Enrichment Program is divided into 3 groups:

 Grades K- 5th

 Grades 6th-8th

 Grades 9th-12th (Legacy Leadership Academy)

Enrichment sessions are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Programming focuses on six primary areas: self-esteem, character development, health and wellness, healthy relationships, finance and leadership development. We also include topics regarding etiquette, respect at home and in school, bullying, honesty, and integrity. Our participants are provided guidance on when and how to use good judgement, exude confidence, and preserver through difficult times and adversity.

The Legacy Leadership Academy, established in January 2019 was developed to equip high school level participants with the skills and knowledge needed to make conscious decisions regarding the preparation for their post high school and adult life. The Legacy Leadership Academy seeks to accomplish this through workshops which consist of basic cooking skills, budgeting, credit tips, interview skills and career and educational explorations.

The lessons are age appropriate and developed to target each grade level. Each session highlights core values that encourage successful outcomes in the lives of each young lady. The goal is to assist them in becoming accomplished and poised young ladies and as adults to be a positive and productive driving force in their communities

 Donor Acquisition Program.

o Funds are solicited through direct mail campaigns, social media and community outreach.

o We actively encourage online donations (which includes monthly giving).

 Corporate sponsorships.

o We seek to expand our corporate partnerships to enhance programming, activities and to support the signature fundraiser event.

 Enhanced Corporate Partnerships and Charitable Giving Programs:

o We actively seek corporate sponsorships and grants that support our vision and mission.

o We also welcome in-kind services and matching programs as well.

 Funding to support our ongoing programming and enrichment activities and signature event, Princess & Company seeks to obtain funding or donations for a build to host meetings, training and events.

 Princess & Company Princess Pearl Scholarship given to senior participants who meet the scholarship requirements.

 Title sponsorship for Above & Beyond Youth Awards recognizing youths between the ages of 13 and 19 who exhibit a positive influence on those in the community but have not received recognition.
